I love these little pizzas, and they’re quick and easy to make too. Great for a fast lunch, and you can different veggies as toppings.
Ingredients:
(Per serving)
1 white pitta bread
1 tsp tomato puree
20g cheddar cheese
Sprinkling of mixed/Italian herbs
Method:
- Preheat your oven to 160°C/325°F/Gas Mark 3
- Spread the tomato paste evenly on the pitta
- Sprinkle the cheese and herbs on to the ptta
- Place on a baking tray and cook for 10-15 mins until cooked
Variations:
You can add lots of toppings and use the pitta pizzas as a way of getting vegetables into your little one such as mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers, sweetcorn. You can also add ham, tuna, or cooked chicken to make them a little more interesting. (My favourite is ham, chicken and pineapple.)
