I found a great burger recipe online, and then immediately changed it to suit the ingredients I had in at the time! Me and the other half had one of these burgers for tea one evening, and we made a few smaller ones for the little boss, some of which we froze for later.
Ingredients:
450g minced lamb
1 small beaten egg
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp garlic paste
2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp fresh coriander
4 toasted burger buns/sandwich thins
Method:
- Place the lamb, egg, ginger, garlic, garam masala and coriander into a mixing bowl and mix well.
- Form the mixture into 8-12 small burgers (unless adults are eating this meal)
- Cook on the grill for about 3 minutes each side, but ensure they are cooked thoroughly
- Serve in a burger bun/sandwich thin and with sweet potato wedges or home-made chips
